It’s hot here in Central California, like really hot. So I have been getting creative with ways to stay cool lately.
I have totally hung out in front of the open refrigerator more times than I can count – I only know its been a lot because my toddler has started mimicking my behavior!!
While that can be refreshing, I came up with something way better!!
My 1st Quality Produce Farm to Families box had so much good stuff in it this month: cucumbers, lemons, yellow onions, rosemary, blueberries, red potatoes, butter lettuce, brussels sprouts, zucchini, corn, red grapes, eggplant!!
I used a lot of it for this recipe, but the rest I decided to use for a twist on one of my favorite adult indulgences: a Moscow Mule!!!
Only this time I am muddling up the blueberries and adding some rosemary for the ultimate summertime refreshment!
What you’ll need:
2-3 Tablespoons blueberries
1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 oz. Vodka
6 oz. Ginger Beer
sprig of fresh rosemary for garnish
Muddle the blueberries and lime juice together in the bottom of a tall glass.
Fill with ice and add the vodka, followed by the ginger beer.
Stir and add a sprig of rosemary
